When are the tours offered?
Our season runs from June 1 to mid-October. Enquire about special arrangements outside this period.
How long is the CHEF & CHAUFFEUR tour?
Our day is nine hours from the time we pick you up at 9 a.m. until we're back in the city and deliver you back to the point of departure between 6 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. or to your selected CHEF & CHAUFFEUR dining option.
What are the limos like?
We use luxury SUV limos with leather interiors, forward, raised seating for better viewing and reduced motion sickness, and four-wheel drive capability for optimal safety in all road conditions. Other features include individual air-conditioning controls, tinted glass, DVD players, and a large storage capacity. All drivers are fully trained, hold Class 4 Licenses and are first-aid certified. Vehicles are fully licensed and insured.
On request, we can supply traditional stretch limousines or Hummers. We use buses for our boutique group tours. Optional transportation can be arranged for large parties.
How many people can the limos accommodate?
Each of our luxury SUV limos seats six average-sized passengers. Capacity varies according to specific vehicles.
Are children allowed?
Yes, by special arrangement as a private family group. We have designed a tour specifically with children in mind that will ensure a fun-filled, informative and hands-on day.
What about solo travelers?
Singles are most welcome although each tour requires a minimum of two. Our guests include like-minded singles, couples, friends and small groups. You'll meet like-minded travelers from all parts of the world.
Can we arrange a private tour?
Yes, we're happy to accommodate special requests from couples, families, honeymooners, incentive travel groups, and large corporate outings. We can design special tours for food writers, journalists and celebrities.
What about the weather?
Our tours go rain or shine. We have slickers, boots and umbrellas to keep you warm and dry. Our climate is very moderate. The average temperature in June, July and August ranges from 22 to 26 degrees Celsius (72 to 79 Fahrenheit).
Are other tours available?
We're happy to tailor exclusive itineraries to other regions of British Columbia.
What is the activity level?
We'll be climbing in and out of our SUV limos and doing some casual strolling through the vineyards and farm lands, but nothing too strenuous. We regret that the tour is not suitable for wheelchairs.
What should I wear?
Comfortable walking shoes, and country-casual clothing. Bring your camera.
Will we be able to shop?
There are ample opportunities to buy wines, culinary treats and other goods from the farms and wineries that we visit. Our limos have coolers and plenty of cargo room for your purchases.
Do you accommodate foreign languages?
We can provide Chinese and Japanese translators and others upon request. Corresponding fees will be assigned to the guest.
