Savour the City with Chef & Chauffeur's Gourmet Gadabout Tour

Chef & Chauffeur's Gourmet Gadabout tour is tailor made for those wanting the culinary scoop on Vancouver's treasured food-centric neighbourhoods. This half-day tour is ideal for small groups of 10 to 20 with an appetite for good tastes. We use commercially licensed step-on vehicles and an in-the-know Chef & Chauffeur guide is aboard to dish on Vancouver's food scene. We ensure ample opportunity for photos and quality sightseeing. The tour concludes at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver or the Pacific Palisades Hotel. Alternately, guests may disembark on Granville Island and take the False Creek Ferry back downtown at their leisure.

Our tour takes in five neighbourhoods beginning in colourful Chinatown and Japantown, home to unique Asian markets, cookware shops, and more. Stop 2 is Strathcona on the East Side to visit Gourmet Warehouse, a food lover's dream emporium packed with the finest foods, cooking gadgets and gear from top global sources. Stop 3, Commercial Drive, also known as Little Italy, is dotted with authentic espresso cafes, Italian bakeries, cheese shops, pasta makers, and world-famous La Casa Gelato that boasts 2i8 flavours daily. Stop 4 is Vancouver's West Side, complete with an artisan chocolatier, fab fromagerie, fascinating cookbook store, and fine French patisserie. Our 5th stop is Granville Island and the renowned Granville Island Public Market, home to specialty provisioners like the Stock Market, Oyama Sausage, and South China Seas Trading. Guests staying on the Island will find an Artisan Sake Studio, The Lobster Man, excellent restaurants and much more.
